JUVENTUS are ready to step up their interest in Manchester United's Anthony Martial, according to reports.
And they are using midfielder and French compatriot Blaise Matuidi to try and convince the forward to join the Italian champions.
Martial's role in the starting XI under Jose Mourinho has been limited with just two league starts this year.
He is believed to be considering his future at Old Trafford and Juventus are prepared to take advantage reports Tuttosport.
Rumours of Juventus' interest began to surface when club director Pavel Nedved was spotted at a London hotel with the striker's agent ahead of the Bianconeri's clash with Tottenham at Wembley.
Nedved was seen with Nelio Lucas, a representative of Doyen Sports, whose client list includes Martial.
The arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January has increased competition for places at Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard are among the other stars vying for a spot behind Romelu Lukaku.

Morale among the United squad is thought to be low as the likes of Paul Pogba and Co arrived for training on Thursday.
Mourinho is planning to hold showdown talks with his side ahead of a nine-player summer clear-out.
Ahead of the expected meeting, a United source said: “The staff are expecting Jose to address the entire squad today at Carrington.
“He only returned from a mini-holiday himself recently and was over there for a few days.

“He also took in the Scotland game last Friday. Only eight players remained at the club during the international break.
“They had about five-days off. Too many players were rushing off when they were knocked out by Sevilla.
“A few are now expecting the manager to clarify some of his recent public criticisms. It should make for an interesting day.”
