THE ongoing saga between Luke Shaw and Jose Mourinho took a new twist with news of what the full-back asked his boss after being hooked at half-time against Brighton.
The reveals that troubled Shaw, 22, demanded of Mourinho: "Why are you always picking on me?"
Mourinho apparently told the former Southampton defender he was not defending well enough and Brighton were having too much freedom down United's left flank in the FA Cup tie.
It was not the first time the two men have clashed.
Shaw had recently sought assurances over his first-team opportunities after United's 3-2 comeback win at Crystal Palace when he came on as a 67th-minute substitute.
But Mourinho rounded angrily on him in a meeting at United's training complex.
