Manchester United ‘could sell Anthony Martial to Juventus’ in order to fund bid for Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale
Jose Mourinho has lost patience with French forward and are willing to sacrifice him — with Serie A giants interested
MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to sell Antony Martial in order to fund a move for Gareth Bale, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho appears to have run out of patience with the French striker, 22, and he has not started a Premier League match for over a month.
Meanwhile, Bale, 28, looks likely to leave Real Madrid, as the club prepare to overhaul their front line in the summer.
United are among the favourites to sign the Welshman, and report they may need to sell Martial in order to fund a bid.
With Alexis Sanchez arriving in January, the Red Devils' squad is well stocked with players who can play in behind the front line — with Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata all capable.
Juventus are the front-runners to sign Martial, following reports in Italy.
Director and midfield icon Pavel Nedved was understood to have met the former Monaco ace's agent in a London hotel before their Champions League clash with Tottenham.
Martial has shown glimpses of his talent throughout his time at Old Trafford, but has failed to consistently produce his best.

Since then, he made a late substitute appearance in the defeat to Sevilla before starting the FA Cup quarter-final win over Brighton — but was an unused sub against Swansea.
