MANCHESTER CITY are set to battle Borussia Dortmund to land Fenerbahce midfielder Eljif Elmas this summer.
Pep Guardiola has been keeping tabs on the Macedonian attacking midfielder, 18, in recent months.
However, the City chief faces competition from Bundesliga giants Dortmund, Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven, according to German outlet Bild.
The Fenerbahce star has been tipped for a move away from the Super Lig side since joining the Turkish side from Macedonian minnows Rabotnicki last summer.
The 18-year-old has turned out for Macedonia at Under-17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 levels - before making his senior debut in June last year.
Elmas is just one player on Guardiola's radar this summer, as they look to have another crack at an unprecedented quadruple.
Pep is hoping to take advantage of Real Madrid outcast Isco's current unsettled situation at the Bernabeu.
The Spaniard netted a hat-trick in his country's 6-1 drubbing of Argentina, but is still not part of Zinedine Zidane's long-term plans.
