THOMAS TUCHEL has reportedly agreed to become Paris Saint-Germain’s next boss.
claims the former Borussia Dortmund manager will replace Unai Emery at the Parc des Princes this summer.
If true, the news will come as a huge blow to Arsenal, who had been eyeing up Tuchel as a replacement for Arsene Wenger.
The German had also been linked with Chelsea, while Bayern Munich revealed they made an approach – only to be told Tuchel had agreed terms elsewhere.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: “In his function as director of sports, Hasan Salihamidzic was involved in many talks, among others also with Tuchel.
“He announced that he signed with another club. That is OK. He is a good coach.
“We know that from his time in Dortmund. I have nothing more to add. There is no bad blood between us.”
Tuchel is regarded as one of the top ‘new school’ coaches in Europe and is sure to bring some much-needed liveliness and spark to PSG’s side.
