Roy Keane slams ‘drifting’ Jack Wilshere and rules out his chances of move to bigger club with Arsenal deal set to expire
Wilshere endured another difficult night in Moscow as the Gunners scraped their way into the semi-finals
ROY KEANE launched an attack on Jack Wilshere following his "really bad" showing against CSKA Moscow.
The Manchester United legend also thinks there is no chance the midfielder will be offered a contract at a bigger club than Arsenal because his "career is drifting."
Arsenal progressed into the semi-finals of the Europa League despite being given a major scare against the Russian side on Thursday night.
Wilshere, 26, is out of contract at the end of the season and has yet to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.
The England international has a new deal on the table but it is believed he has been asked to take a 25 per cent pay cut in order to prove his fitness.
And Keane believes Wilshere should waste no time in signing on the dotted line because it's the best he is going to get.
Speaking on ITV after Arsenal unconvincingly progressed into the Europa League semi-finals, he said: "You need to be fit if you're a top level footballer, and every time I see him he's getting treatment or he's carrying a knock.
"I've never been a big fan of his, for an attacking player he doesn't get enough goals or assists. The guy's career is drifting, I don't like to see it, but as bad as Arsenal were he was really bad.
"Has he been offered a contract? If I was him I would sign it, because if he thinks he's getting big offers in the summer he'll be surprised. The big question about him, on top of what he lacks, is that he never seems fit. That's pretty important."

Wilshere's career has been riddled with injuries and he was substituted on 69 minutes after taking an ankle knock.
And Keane's colleague Glenn Hoddle believes the uncertainty over his contract is also hampering his current form.
He added: "It was one of those nights it just wasn't working out. Since this contract talks he has gone off the boil. There's no zip to his game.
"He's got to play the ball earlier, two or three touch, his days of beating people in and around the box are over."
