'waiting for claims panel'

Harry Kane trolled by James Milner after Mohamed Salah scores for Liverpool against Bournemouth

Tottenham striker has been mocked ever since he was awarded goal in Spurs' 2-1 win against Stoke

JAMES MILNER aimed a cheeky dig at Harry Kane after Mo Salah bagged his 30th Premier League goal of the season.

The Tottenham striker has become a figure of ridicule ever since a three-man Prem panel awarded him the second goal in Spurs' 2-1 win against Stoke this month despite replays appearing to show he made no contact.

Salah, 25, netted in Liverpool's 3-0 win over Bournemouth to extend his lead as the league's top scorer ahead of Kane (25).

Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino scored either side of the Egyptian.

Team-mate Milner tweeted: "Another hat-trick for Mo today.... just waiting for the other two to be confirmed by the claims panel 😜"

Reds captain Jordan Henderson got in on the joke during his post-match interview yesterday.

When asked about the records Salah could break this season, he said: "Yeah, he told me he’s going to claim all of them!

"He’s been brilliant, he’s been fantastic, but he’s got to keep going, his work rate, his movement off the ball, how strong he is.

"He’s a big player, so hopefully he can keep scoring for us.

"I think you can never keep Harry away, he’s always going to score goals, he can come up with hat-tricks, he’s got great finishing. Aguero is similar, so he’s [Salah] got to keep going."

Salah himself could not believe Kane was awarded the goal and at the time tweeted: "Wooooooow really?"

Fans have poked fun of England star Kane, 24, at every possible moment.

The Spurs ace remarkably scored for Liverpool against Bournemouth, for Manchester City against his own side and even won the Grand National, according to giddy Twitter users.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino insists there is no animosity between Kane and Eriksen but admits his striker has been hurt by the reaction to the decision to award him the goal.

He said: "Of course he never thought that this situation was going to go on to such big things when he was so, so, so, so certain that he touched the ball.

"It’s normal that he was a little bit disappointed [with the reaction] because of course Harry Kane and all of our players have Twitter, Instagram.

"Tottenham fans will back Harry Kane but other fans will kill him. People have opinions but that is normal.

"He is disappointed because he never wanted to create this. For you, sometimes, it is a small or simple thing and they become bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger and you cannot stop it.

"That was what happened. He is going to learn a lot from this."
