PIERRE-EMERICK Aubameyang was left empty handed in more ways than one today.

Not only did his Arsenal side leave Newcastle with nothing after a 2-1 Premier League defeat, but he was also mugged off hard by Matt Ritchie.

As the players went for the customary embraces after the game, Aubameyang received a handshake and a hug from Ayoze Perez, who netted the game's opening goal.

Enter Mat Ritchie, who raised his hands into the air as if to high five the Gunners star.

But despite looking towards him, as Aubameyang went in for it, Ritchie turned and  gave it to Perez instead.

There was nothing more that Aubameyang could do other than walk off and pretend it never happened.

In the game itself Ritchie booted the corner flag in delight after giving Arsenal ANOTHER away-day kicking.

The winger stunned the Gunners with a 69th-minute strike and celebrated by smashing the flag out of its hole.
