Gary Neville warns Manchester United fans to avoid Monday Night Football as City win Premier League title
Neville will have to talk about Pep Guardiola's side after United lost to West Brom at Old Trafford on Sunday
GARY NEVILLE posted a hilarious warning to Manchester United fans on social media after Manchester City scooped the Premier League title on Sunday.
United’s shock defeat to West Brom at Old Trafford confirmed Pep Guardiola’s men as champions of England.
City had been hoping to wrap up the title last weekend when they faced United in the Manchester derby.
They blew their lead at the Etihad and ended up on the receiving end of a 3-2 defeat to their fierce rivals.
However, United undid their own hard work when Jay Rodriguez netted a late winner to hand City the title.
And Old Trafford legend Neville made it clear he was not impressed ahead of hosting tomorrow night’s Monday Night Football clash between West Ham and Stoke.
Neville wrote on Twitter: “Gonna be a long MNF tomorrow! We are on at 7pm. Don’t tune in!!”
But one man who was delighted with the result was City captain Vincent Kompany.

He revealed he was watching the match at a friend’s house, even though boss Guardiola was enjoying a round of golf.
And Kompany was later snapped downing a pint of Guinness in celebration of the spectacular feat.
