Taster for PFA Player of the Year award throws up star-studded line-up with five Manchester City stars in after they romped to the Premier League title while Aguero gets into the team for the first time in seven seasons
THE PFA team of the year award has been announced – and Sergio Aguero has finally been named.
Argentina international Aguero has played for Manchester City for seven seasons, but has never been honoured with a place on the sheet as one of five triumphant City stars.
Both Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah have been unsurprisingly included in the team, before they go head-to-head for the PFA Player of the Year award.
Salah has netted 30 Premier League goals this season during a stunning spell at Anfield, while De Bruyne has been a midfield maestro for City.
England's brightest star Harry Kane has been named up front, while Three Lions star Kyle Walker is in the right-back slot.
David De Gea takes the goalkeeper place, after a string of magnificent saves for Manchester United this season, where he has undoubtedly won them several points.
The remaining players including Nicolas Otamendi, Jan Vertonghen and Marcos Alonso in defence, while Christian Eriksen fills in in midfield.
Tottenham are set to qualify for the Champions League with a top-four finish, but Chelsea are not yet mathematically out of contention.

Liverpool and United are most likely to finish third and second, with Jurgen Klopp's side just a point behind Jose Mourinho's although United do have a game in hand.
The PFA Player of the Year award has six nominees, including De Bruyne, Salah, Kane, De Gea, Leroy Sane and David Silva and the dinner takes place on Sunday evening.
