ANTONIO CONTE has offered his support to Sam Allardyce following Everton’s bizarre survey request to fans.
Big Sam was the subject of a questionnaire sent to Toffees supporters asking them to rate their level of trust in his work at Goodison Park this season.
Fans were asked to give ratings on a scale, with zero being complete disagree and ten being completely agree, on statements such as: “I have a high level of trust in the current manager and coaching staff of Everton.”
Another said: “I have a high level of trust in the current senior leadership team at Everton.”
Football fans across the country were left shocked when the survey was leaked online, with many believing it undermines Allardyce’s position at the club.
The journeyman tactician has come under pressure for his bland tactics despite guiding Everton away from the relegation zone.
And one man who believes Everton were wrong to put such questions to fans is Chelsea boss Conte.
He too has faced questions over his team’s performances this season.

And Conte clearly feels those in charge at clubs should not be influenced by the opinions of the massers.
He said: “No, I don’t think it was [a good idea to send the survey to fans]. The club has to judge the work of the players and the manager and the staff. This is the right way and it is right to be so.”
