PEP GUARDIOLA is reportedly looking at bringing Brazilian wonderkid Lucas Halter to Manchester City.
The Atletico Paranaense centre-back, who turns 18 next month, is also being tracked by Atletico Madrid and Roma.
But City could beat them to his signing by swooping for a player who impressed during Brazil's run to the Under-17 World Cup semi-final.
Halter played in the last-four defeat to tournament winners England, as Rhian Brewster netted all of the Three Lions' goals in a 3-1 win.
And report he could now be heading to City's impressive academy, where he link up with Phil Foden - who also played in that game.
City are banned from signing academy players up to the age of 18 from other Premier League clubs until June 30, with a second year of a ban suspended for two years.
