MARIO GOTZE has the key to unlock any defence - unfortunately his car is another issue.
The German international posted a series of videos on his Instagram story showing off his plight after being left stranded.
But fortunately help was at hand and Gotze, 25, eventually got back into his car.
He kindly took some photos with the locksmith who came to his rescue - sharing his antics with his followers.
Unfortunately the wheels have come off for Gotze on the field, with the ex-Bayern Munich ace benched twice by Borussia Dortmund.
His lack of action against Stuttgart and Schalke has left his World Cup hopes in the balance.
The 63-cap ace scored the winning goal in Brazil as Germany won the tournament but needs game time to make a star-studded squad.
Dortmund boss Peter Stoger insists the decision was based on the strength of his squad, explaining: "Mario surely is a talented player, a good player.
"We had other players who could have started as well. This applies to Mario Gotze as well as other players."
But not starting for a Dortmund side who trail Bayern by an astonishing 24 points is clearly not where Gotze needs to be.
