Antonio Conte insists blaming Chelsea for selling Mo Salah overlooks improvement at Roma
Egyptian star joined the Stamford Bridge club while Jose Mourinho was in charge back in January 2014 but was sold in 2016

ANTONIO CONTE says it's wrong to say Chelsea made a mistake selling Mohamed Salah because of how much the star improved at Roma.
The Egyptian was signed for the Blues by Jose Mourinho in January 2014 but made just 13 Prem appearances before being loaned to Fiorentina.
The following season he joined Roma on a 12-month loan before the Serie A side made the deal permanent in 2016.
Salah's form at the Stadio Olimpico - and the club's need to comply with Financial Fair Play rules - led to Liverpool splashing out £34million for him last summer.
And he has proved to be a bargain after scoring 43 goals so far this campaign and firing the Reds to the verge of the Champions League Final.
Earlier this week Mourinho declared that it was not his decision to sell Salah to Roma, and Conte has now said it is difficult to say for definite if Chelsea made a mistake letting him go because of how he developed in the Italian capital.
The Blues boss, who takes his side to Swansea tomorrow, said: "It's not so simple.
"We have to compare Salah of four or five years ago, and not this Salah now.

"Salah in the present has improved a lot, developed a lot his football. The experience in Italy was very important for him. Now I'm sure that he's a different player compared to in the past.
"For this reason, this comparison is very difficult with the players."
