And Big Sam admits he is is like Marmite and may not be able to keep fans happy whatever the results.

Big Sam reckons you either love him or hate him – and most Toffees fans still seem to feel the latter.

Since he took charge of the Goodison, nobody outside the top five has a better record than Allardyce's team.
Yet it does not appear to be enough for some people - and you get the feeling it is a battle he will not win.
The former Bolton boss is used to it, saying: "I got it at West Ham. One time we were fourth when I got it. You never know.
"I’m Marmite, aren’t I?"
"They players are the ones I’ve to work with to get the best out of, get results and entertain the fans.
"For me they’ve been doing that. I don’t think this squad can do any more than we’re doing.
