Italian newspaper are reporting the North London club are looking to bring in Napoli chief Sarri to replace the sacked Wenger.

But this could well lead to the Italian giants hunting for Rafa Benitez from Newcastle to replace him.

Sarri's stock has grown this season after pushing Juventus all the way in Serie A, and he could well feature on a pretty long shortlist for Arsenal this summer.

SunSport report that Massimiliano Allegri is the new favourite for the Arsenal job, but Sarri is sure to be mentioned for some of Europe's top jobs.

Benitez, meanwhile, has arguably been one of the Premier League manager's of the season for his work at St James' Park.
