Rangers defender James Tavernier at centre of three-club fight as Burnley, Everton and Swansea line up summer moves
The former Wigan star has three years left on his contract after agreeing fresh terms earlier this year
RANGERS star James Tavernier is reportedly at the centre of a three-club fight for his services next season.
Tavernier, 26, has been one of few steady performers for Gers during a car-crash campaign.
Former Wigan star Tavernier recently agreed a new deal, extending his stay in Govan until summer 2021.
He has also been handed the captain's armband in Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller's absence.
But with the Ibrox side currently in turmoil, no player's future is certain as the Light Blues prepare for an end-of-season clearout.
And Rangers could decide to cash in on the defender should a big-money offer come their way.
The prospect of a lucrative move down south is also likely to appeal to Tavernier, who was brought in by Mark Warburton in 2015.
Meanwhile a close pal of over a move to Glasgow.
