The result sums up what a disappointing campaign it had been for the Toffees, with no other stand-out candidate for any of the gongs.

Pickford joined from Sunderland for £30million in the summer and has enjoyed a steady season as Everton look set to finish comfortably in the top half.

However, things looked bleak in the early stages of the campaign with seven defeats in their first 13 matches appearing to signal they would be involved in a relegation scrap.

But Ronald Koeman was replaced by Sam Allardyce, who soon steadied the ship.

The one-time England manager was appointed hours before Everton's 4-0 thumping of West Ham on November 29.

Wayne Rooney hit a hat-trick that day, and that won him the Individual Performance of the Season award.

Everton's last trophy-winning manager Joe Royle won the club's first-ever lifetime achievement award, while veterans Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines were joint winners of the Howard Kendall award.

Morgan Feeney was named Everton Under-23s Player of the Season.
