THIS is the hilarious moment a travelling Arsenal fan fell asleep during Thursday’s Europa League defeat to Atletico Madrid.
The knackered supporter was filmed snoring his head off as astonished bystanders laughed and gasped.
He clearly didn’t care about what was going on at the Wanda Metropolitano despite probably having travelled all the way from London.
But the journey – and maybe some pints in the sun – had seemingly caught up on him by the time the game rolled around.
However, he surely deserves some kudos for managing to successfully grab 40 winks during a live match with a place in a final at stake.
He didn’t miss a lot though, with Arsenal caught napping on their trip to the Spanish capital.
The Gunners looked to have won the first leg 1-0 before conceding a late equaliser courtesy of a sloppy mistake by Laurent Koscielny.
But things got even worse for the Frenchman in the return clash when he was stretchered off early on with an apparent Achilles injury, leaving his World Cup chances in doubt.
Former Chelsea man Diego Costa then scored for Atletico in front of their jubilant fans to win the tie 2-1 on aggregate.
It means there will be no final trophy for boss Arsene Wenger, who leaves Arsenal at the end of the season following another disappointing Premier League campaign.
