CELTIC chief Brendan Rodgers has welcomed Steven Gerrard to Scotland with a hilarious message.
Stevie G's former boss at Liverpool sent his old captain a brilliant message after he was confirmed as new Rangers supremo today.
Gerrard is embarking on his first job in management, but Rodgers hasn't held back when discussing the league.
The Celtic boss joked: "Welcome to the land of no sleep!"
Earlier in the day, Gerrard - at his unveiling - claimed: “I am honoured to become the next manager of Rangers.
"I have enormous respect for this football club, and its history and tradition.
“I can’t wait to start this new journey at Rangers as we look to build on the many successes that this club has achieved."
Gerrard also added what motivated him to take the job, was to feel the passion once more.

The Liverpool legend said: "Since I stopped playing football, I've missed that pressure of fighting for three points on the weekend.
"That's what I love about football."
Meanwhile, speaking of Rodgers, Gerrard says he is looking forward to the challenge of taking on his former boss.
Gerrard revealed: "I haven’t spoken to Brendan regarding this role.
"We are fine, we always have been fine and am looking forward to the challenge."
