El Clasico: Sergi Roberto sent off for apparent ‘punch’ at Marcelo in first half at Nou Camp

Spanish star saw red in the closing minutes of the first half in Barcelona's clash with Real Madrid

SERGI ROBERTO saw red in El Clasico on Sunday night, and was given his marching orders.

The Spanish star was shown a red card in the closing minutes of the first half of Barcelona's clash with Real Madrid at the Nou Camp.

Roberto was involved in a nothing collision with Marcelo off the ball and hit out at the Brazilian defender.

The flailing arm hit Marcelo on his shoulder and Twitter users were quick to call it a punch.
