ROMELU LUKAKU claims his ankle injury progress is going “faster than expected” ahead of the FA Cup final.
The Manchester United striker was forced off during the recent win over Arsenal and missed last weekend’s defeat to Brighton as a result.
There were fears that Lukaku could miss the FA Cup final against Chelsea on May 19.
But it seems the 24-year-old is making a speedy recovery after flying to Belgian city Antwerp for treatment.
Lukaku is undergoing rehabilitation at the Move to Cure centre with world-renowned physio Lieven Maesschalck.
And he is confident of returning to the pitch sooner rather than later, saying: “My recovery is going faster than expected, as always.”
