Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reveals Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford will play Premier League finale against Watford
MANCHESTER UNITED boss Jose Mourinho has revealed Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford will play in Sunday's Premier League finale against Watford.
Following United's shock loss at the hands of Brighton last week, Mourinho slammed the pair's sub-par performances.
But both Rashford and Martial have been tipped to return to the first-team fold after failing to start Thursday night's draw with West Ham.
Mourinho said: "Marcus and Anthony played against Brighton, today was for Alexis and Lingard and Sunday is a game for Martial and Rashford.
"I play some players that didn't play today, I play Romero, I play Daley Blind, I play Eric Bailly, I play Rashford, I play Martial, I play Mata."
After last weekend's 1-0 defeat on the South Coast, Mourinho revealed why he always plays Romelu Lukaku.
The Special One said: "During the season there is criticism to my choices, [asked]... 'Why always Lukaku?'
"You have the answer why always Lukaku. Now you see why some players don't play all the time.
'NOW YOU KNOW WHY' Mourinho hangs Rashford out to dry as he says ‘now you know why I always play Lukaku’
"Maybe now you will not ask questions why some are not playing every week."
Man United sealed second place with last night's point - but still have next weekend's FA Cup final to look forward to.
