WILL HUGHES downs a pint of lager - while praying Derby go UP.
Brilliant footage emerged of the midfielder, who left the Rams for Watford last summer, drinking with his old fans in a London pub during Derby's playoff clash at Fulham.
One supporter uploaded the clip, captioned: "Will Hughes downs pints faster than Matej Vydra scores goals against Forest."
The Surrey-born star, who moved to Derby when he was two, is cheered on by a pub full of supporters as he chugs his beer before planting the empty glass upside down on his head.
Sadly for Hughes, 23, his former side were sunk 2-0 at Craven Cottage and suffered a 2-1 defeat on aggregate.
Though the Watford ace may need to be reminded of the sorry news tomorrow morning when his head has cleared.
Goals from Ryan Sessegnon and Denis Odoi were enough to overturn Cameron Jerome's first-leg header.
Fulham now face the winner of tomorrow's clash between Aston Villa and Middlesbrough.
Villa have a one goal advantage thanks to Mile Jedinak's header at the Riverside.
Watford signed Hughes for £8million last summer. He has scored two goals in 16 appearances this season.
