SPORTING have condemned thugs who attacked their striker Bas Dost and other players at the club's training ground.
Portuguese media claim that around 50 hooded men stormed the Lisbon club's base and went at staff with batons and makeshift weapons.
Images have emerged of Dutch international Dost with two nasty cuts on his forehead.
Dost, 28, says he feels "empty" after the ambush, which also left him with injuries to his legs.
