ZINEDINE ZIDANE is tempted by the French FA's proposal to become the next national team manager, according to reports.
With Didier Deschamps having been at the helm since 2012, the country's national body are beginning their search for a successor.
And report they have remained in regular contact with France legend Zidane about potentially taking up the role.
The article adds that he is aware his cycle at Real Madrid may be coming to an end, and is tempted by the idea.
And he knows the door is open to him, should he decide he wants to take up the role as France's next manager.
However, he doe not want to leave on a major low, so his decision will rest on the outcome of the Champions League final against Liverpool.
