THE Europa League final has arrived and Atletico Madrid take on Marseille to find out who will succeed Manchester United as champions.
Arsenal were hoping to give Arsene Wenger the perfect farewell in Lyon but were knocked out after a heroic display by ten-man Atletico at the Emirates followed by a 1-0 loss in Madrid.
Atleti's opponents Marseille were forced all the way to extra time by Salzburg after throwing away a 2-0 first leg lead, but Rolando's late goal put the French side through.
When is the Europa League final?
The Europa League final takes place on Wednesday, May 16.
Kick-off will be at 7.45pm.
The match will take place at the Groupama Stadium in Lyon, but the ground will be referred to as Parc Olympique Lyonnais due to Uefa rules prohibiting stadium sponsorship.
