Gareth Bale is star of Real Madrid’s new kit unveiling… but there’s no Cristiano Ronaldo after exit hint
Two-goal Champions League hero Garth cuts a sultry, eerie figure in Spanish giants' video for 2018/19 strip
GARETH BALE captures the sultry mood of Real Madrid's poignant, mean and focused video that accompanies the Champions League winner's latest kit launch.
But the meanest player of them all - at least as far as the opposition is concerned - is nowhere to be seen.
Cristiano Ronaldo has featured in previous adidas kit launches despite being a Nike athlete.
On this occasion, especially given the speculation over the Portuguese maestro's future, it could be more than significant that he wasn't on show.
Ronaldo has prompted frenzied transfer talk but he did tell fans at Real's Euro victory parade: "See you next year."
Still, he's not featured in the kit launch...
Bale also put the cat amongst the pigeons given his post-match comments after his two-goal blast against Liverpool.
The former Tottenham wideman said in no uncertain terms that he wants more first-team play, alerting Manchester United and to his possible availability.
BALE FORCE Meet Man Utd's main transfer target - but even they may not be able to afford £349m man
But unlike Ronaldo the prolific Welshman does feature prominently in Real's kit launch for 2018/19.
And he captures the mood of a man who is king of Europe, having bagged his fourth Champions League winner's gong in five years.
