SPURS could get the go-ahead from Prem chiefs to play at Wembley AND their new 62,000-seater home next season.
Tottenham are adamant their stadium will be completed by the end of August.
Prem bosses are expecting Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to ask for permission to play the club’s first four games of the new campaign away from home.
That would see the “opening” home game at the new ground played on Sunday September 16, after the season’s first international break.
But while League rules state clubs must play in one nominated home ground in any season, Levy could ask as late as the end of August for the regulations to be lifted temporarily.
Questions over whether the club’s new £850million home will be ready for next season intensified after a video shot at the ground recently showed plenty left to do.
Meanwhile, Spurs had a cheeky dig at Arsenal and Chelsea with some adverts for their new stadium.
Tottenham’s capital rivals both missed out on Champions League and will play in the Europa League instead next season.

Spurs couldn’t resist the chance to point it out, with their adverts for the new stadium saying: “The only place to watch UEFA Champions League in London.”
Tottenham will be hoping to make a better go of Europe’s elite competition this time around after surrendering their lead to Juventus in the last-16 in March.
