MARIO BALOTELLI has congratulated Paul Pogba on France's 3-1 win over Italy on Friday night... but said he's still ugly.
Samuel Umtiti, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele scored as Les Blues strolled to victory in Nice - Super Mario's home turf.
And Balotelli took to Instagram on Saturday morning to say well done to old pal Pogba.
Ex-Premier League hothead Balotelli quipped: "Mmm.. ok! About yesterday night..
"@paulpogba bravo Paul !!! But you still ugly bro."
Despite the fun and games on Saturday, Manchester United star Pogba had a night to forget.
The ex-Juventus man was subjected to boos after a misplaced pass in the second-half and again when replaced by Steven N'Zonzi late in the game.
France boss Didier Deschamps and striker Antoine Griezmann jumped to his defence, but it's apparent French fans are going into the World Cup not on Pogba's side.
