Diogo Dalot’s Manchester United medical to take place this week ahead of £17m switch from Porto

DIOGO DALOT is reportedly set to undergo his Manchester United medical this week.
The Porto defender, 19, has been tipped to become one of Jose Mourinho’s first signings this summer.
Dalot only broke through into Porto’s first team this year but has done enough in that short time to convince the Special One he has the potential to dethrone Antonio Valencia at Old Trafford.
According to , Dalot will travel to Manchester this week, with United meeting the £17.4million release clause in his current contract.
Dalot, who can also play at left-back, faced Liverpool in the Champions League knockout stages and won the U17 Euros with Portugal in 2016.
But he’s not the only potential new arrival at the Theatre of Dreams this week.
Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred is believed to be undergoing his medical at Carrington before jetting off to Russia for the World Cup with Brazil.
He was chased by Manchester City in January but now looks set to become a Red Devil.

Fred is capable of playing as a holding, central or attacking midfielder.
