West Ham ‘set to offer contract to Yaya Toure’ and former Man City midfielder is already discussing terms

YAYA TOURE could be set for a sensational switch to West Ham, according to reports.
The switch would see the out-of-contract midfielder reunited with his old boss Manuel Pellegrini, where he enjoyed his best ever season working under the Argentine.
Back in 2013-14, Toure helped Pellegrini's Manchester City side to the Premier League title, plundering 20 goals along the way.
He was pipped by then-Liverpool striker Luis Suarez to the player of the year award.
And now are reporting how Toure, 35, could be reunited with Pellegrini in East London next season.
He is believed to be already discussing terms with the Hammers, although it is highly unlikely they would be able to match anywhere near the £220,000-a-week he was earning at the Etihad.
Toure was released by City at the end of last season and made only one Premier League start as his Man City career ended on a rather sour note.
The Ivorian launched a scathing criticism of City boss Pep Guardiola, suggesting the boss has a problem with African players.

Toure also claimed he was treated differently by Guardiola... and will buy him a cake if he ever picks a team with five African players in it.
Incredibly, the Ivorian also hit out at his former manager for the manner of his departure from Manchester City, saying he "stole" his farewell from the Premier League champions.

Toure's spent two spells working under Guardiola, first at Barcelona before being sold to Manchester City and then again at the Etihad after the Spaniard followed him last year.
