JUSTIN KLUIVERT’S switch from Ajax to Roma is a “done deal”, according to reports.

The 19-year-old has been courted by Manchester United and Tottenham among others following his breakthrough at the Amsterdam Arena.

But respected a £15.8million switch to the Stadio Olimpico.

Kluivert, the son of Ajax and Dutch legend Patrick, is one of the most exciting young talents on the continent.

He was one of the club’s top performers last season as he bagged ten goals and five assists.

The winger’s father has been advising him stay put in Holland for another season.

However, it looks like the hotshot has ignored that advice and opted for a move to the Eternal City.

Kluivert senior told over the weekend: "I personally said to him maybe it's better to stay one more year at Ajax, to make some kilometres, to be important for the team.

"He's 19 years old. He's still young, but he makes his own decisions, and as a dad, I have to stand behind all the decisions that he makes.

"It looks like he's going to leave Ajax. I think it's 90 per cent sure that he's going away.

Could Justin Kluivert end up being as talented as dad Patrick?

"If he's got the feeling to leave then he's got to do that, but he needs to know what things are coming on his way.

"It will be difficult because if you're 19 and you're going to another country, it's not easy.

"You have to pick wisely what club and also talk really deeply about how his progress will be."

Neither Roma or Ajax has yet to officially confirm the deal, despite several other outlets also reporting it has been completed.
