When is the Old Firm derby? Scottish Premiership fixtures announced as fans look for the Celtic vs Rangers clash

RANGERS manager Steven Gerrard faces a tough start to his managerial career in the Scottish Premiership.

They face Aberdeen away in the opening day of the season but all eyes will be on the first old firm derby.

Celtic secured the league title after an emphatic win against Rangers

Last season’s Old Firm derby saw the Hoops thrash Rangers 5-0 – a result which secured them the Scottish Premiership title.

When is the Old Firm derby?

THE first time Rangers and Celtic will meet will be on Saturday, September 1. 

The fixture will be held at Celtic Park.

Kick-off time is yet to be confirmed.

The game at the Ibrox will take place on Saturday, March 30.
