RADJA NAINGGOLAN is ready to turn his back on his last chance to play Premier League football by joining Inter Milan, it has been claimed.
Roma midfielder Nainggolan has been chased by a series of top flight clubs in England over the past few years with Manchester United and Chelsea top of the list.
And Chelsea had shown an interest in finally trying to get a deal done this summer to take him to Stamford Bridge ahead of the new season.
But reports in Italy claim he is about to quit Roma and make a player-plus cash move to the San Siro and remain in Serie A.
According to , the 27-year-old is due to hold talks with Inter today to finalise terms of the move to Milan.
Inter are said to be paying £21million plus players Davide Santon and Nicolo Zaniolo to get the deal over the line.
And if it goes ahead it will see Nainggolan reunited with manager Luciano Spalletti in Milan.
The pair worked together successfully when Spalletti was in charge of Roma, and the coach believes he is the ideal man to be the driving force of his side next season.
Nainggolan played a vital role in helping Roma reach the semi-finals of the Champions League last season before their run was ended by Liverpool.
And though the controversial player was left out of Belgium's World Cup squad by Roberto Martinez, he is still regarded as one of the best in his position in Europe.

For Roma, the deal will see them add two players to a squad that was short on depth at times last season.
Santon has established himself as a consistent Serie A performer in two spells at Inter around a four-year stay in the Premier League with England.
And Zaniolo, 18, is a highly-rated product of the Inter youth system who Roma believe has the ability to develop into a key player over the coming years.
The club have also been busy trying to find an immediate replacement for Nainggolan, and look to have secured a deal to sign Javier Pastore.
West Ham had been interested in the Paris Saint-Germain star but baulked at his wage demands and Roma look to have settled on an £18m fee for the Argentina star with PSG.
