ARSENAL are eyeing a £5.5million swoop for Mexico star Miguel Layun, according to reports.
The Porto defender who is on loan at Sevilla is said to have "seduced" the Gunners along with AC Milan and Marseille with his impressive showing in the shock win over Mexico, say AS.
Layun stood out in the 1-0 triumph over the defending champions, prompting Arsenal to reportedly make contact over his availability.
The 29-year-old can play as a right-back and be used across the midfield with a remit to go forward.
He spent last season on loan at Sevilla but the Spanish side are reportedly set to decide against making the move permanent.
That has opened the door for Unai Emery to see if they can land him.
