Brendan Rodgers is taking on Steven Gerrard in a bid to sign Liverpool’s Welsh wizard Harry Wilson.
Rodgers has asked his old club to let him have attacker Wilson on loan at for the season.
Gerrard is already in for Wilson, one of the first players he tried to do a deal for when he took charge at .
Liverpool are considering all inquiries and will demand rental fees are paid if Wilson does not play enough.
Gerrard wants Wilson in as soon as possible for the European campaign but knows he may have to wait for an answer.

Hull City and Norwich City also want Wilson on loan and are prepared to take him and play him to avoid any potential cash penalties.
