Manchester United boost as new-signing Diogo Dalot comes off crutches after knee injury

MANCHESTER UNITED have been given a boost after new signing Diogo Dalot came off his crutches last week.
The 19-year-old injured his knee at the end of last season while playing for old club Porto.
He was still able to complete his medical, and made a £19m switch from Portugal at the beginning of this month.
And Jose Mourinho will now be able to include him in the Red Devils’ upcoming pre-season training and matches.
An Old Trafford source said: “Diogo is now off his crutches and can take part in pre-season when it starts.
“He has been making solid progress and the conditioning team will take a closer look when he returns later next week.
“There aren't any worries about his future fitness. It was just one of those injuries, hence no worries with the medical.”
Dalot was snapped in Manchester earlier this month hobbling around on crutches, shortly after completing his move.
He is searching for a place in the area to live, and is expected to be joined by members of his close family.
