WEST HAM target Craig Dawson has reportedly handed in a transfer request to West Brom.
The 28-year-old defender is attempting to force a move away from The Hawthorns following last season’s relegation.
And claim today he handed in his request in writing.
The Hammers, Burnley and Everton are all interested in signing the star.
All three are believed to be prepared to splash out £12million to secure the signature of the centre-half.
However, West Brom are holding firm and value the ex-England U21s international closer to the £20m mark.
Dawson refused to go on the Championship club’s pre-season training camp to Portugal last week.
Baggies boss Darren Moore still wants to keep him, but it remains to be seen whether the former Rochdale man will train with the rest of the first-team squad when they return from Iberia tomorrow.
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is the one believed to be leading the chase for Dawson, who made 28 top-flight appearances during the previous campaign.
The Chilean hopes to add the experienced ace to summer additions Issa Diop and Ryan Federicks and goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski in his new-look defence.
