Bayern Munich want Benjamin Pavard as France’s World Cup star is lined up for switch from Stuttgart
Versatile right-back has been in great form for Didier Deschamps' men in Russia
BAYERN MUNICH are reportedly plotting a move for France star Benjamin Pavard.
The versatile right-back made headlines at the weekend when his wonder strike helped the World Cup hopefuls to a dramatic 4-3 win over Argentina.
Pavard currently plies his trade for Stuttgart and has impressed since usurping Djibril Sidibe in Didier Deschamps’ starting XI.
Sport Bild claims Bayern are sitting up and taking notice of the 22-year-old as they look to the future.
And the German giants could be set to meet his £30million release clause.
However, due to contract stipulations, Pavard would be unable to move to the Allianz Arena until 2019.

That would give Bayern one more year of the ageing Jerome Boateng-Mats Hummels partnership.
And Pavard would also be guaranteed another season of regular first-team football at Stuttgart to boost his development.
Bayern will have to move fast though, with interest in Pavard heating up.
Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are also looking to make offers, although Bayern’s Bundesliga dominance makes them favourites for the star’s signature.
