RANGERS got off to a soggy start in their Europa League qualifier against Shkupi when a rogue sprinkler on the pitch refused to turn off.
Steven Gerrard's men were looking to start the second half after soaring into a 1-0 lead at Ibrox.
But the game had to be delayed due to a sprinkler which continued to spout water in all directions.
Players and fans alike looked bemused as the water continued to cover the grass.
And because of the risk of someone getting wet, the referee refused to commence the second half until the sprinkler could be stopped.
Eventually it was turned off and the game was able to get back underway.
Rangers were 1-0 up at the time thanks to a 23rd minute goal from Jamie Murphy.
And they will be hoping to consolidate their lead ahead of the return leg next Tuesday.
Great things are expected of Gerrard at Ibrox, with the former Liverpool captain looking to close down Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.
There have been a number of new signings at the club in recent weeks, and Rangers will now be looking to book their place in the Europa League group stage to kick-start their huge season.
