Juventus ace Juan Cuadrado uses Twitter to pick perfect new shirt number after Cristiano Ronaldo nabs No7 jersey
JUAN CUADRADO has found a unique way to pick a new squad number at Juventus — after asking Twitter to decide.
The former Chelsea winger has been told that he will have to vacate the No7 jersey for incoming blockbuster signing Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been having a medical in Turin.
And Cuadrado, 30, had a laugh in the process as he put the decision on his request for a new number out to the public vote.
Twitter users have been voting in their droves over the choice, with No49 winning 34 per cent of the 153,000 votes.
But Cuadrado cheekily included No10, currently occupied by team-mate Paulo Dybala in the poll.
Luckily for the Argentina international, only 21 per cent of fans thought Cuadrado should be able to take the No10 jersey, meaning Dybala can keep the digit.

Alongside his poll, he tweeted: "And now... what number for next season?"
Then users had the choice of Nos16, 21, 49 and 10... and 49 won the day.
But get this: "Cuadrado" means "square" in Spanish - and seven squared equals 49!
Cuadrado has been enjoying time off following the World Cup, where Colombia were knocked out by England on penalties.
He posted a picture alongside Yerry Mina and his adviser Andrei Martinez at a restaurant in Bogota and is expected to join up with Juventus again over the next week.
