NACER CHADLI is set to receive the freedom of his home city as a reward for his part in Belgium's World Cup success.
The West Brom winger, 28, helped the Red Devils finish third in Russia for a best-ever finals placing.
And former Tottenham star Chadli hit Belgium's late winner as they came from behind to beat Japan 3-2 in their last-16 tie.
The Liege-born ace will now be made a Citoyen d'Honneur - Distinguished Citizen - at a ceremony on Thursday.
A town hall spokesman said: "He will receive the honour because of the Red Devils' brilliant run at the World Cup finals."
Chadli figured in six of Belgium's seven games in Russia.

The ex-Tottenham star even scored a contender for goal of the tournament after finishing a superb team move against Japan.
Born in Liege to Moroccan parents, he joined Standard Liege's academy as a nine-year-old before joining Dutch club MVV Maastricht aged 16.
Spurs paid FC Twente £7million for him in 2013, and he scored 25 goals in 119 games before West Brom signed him for a club record £13m two summers ago.
Injuries limited him to just five appearances last term as the Baggies dropped into the Championship.
