CHELSEA could target Barcelona keeper Jasper Cillessen as a replacement for Thibaut Courtois.
The Blues stopper has made no attempt to hide his desire to return to Spain and is believed to be close to sealing a move to Real Madrid.
No fee has so far been agreed between the sides but Chelsea are understood to be on the lookout for potential replacements.
New boss Maurizio Sarri seems to have missed out on Roma and Brazil sensation Alisson, who is set to join Liverpool in a world record £66.8million deal.
While moves for club legend Petr Cech and Leicester’s Kasper Schmeichel have also been mooted.
But, according , Barca backup Cillessen has emerged as another candidate.

Cillessen, 29, joined the Nou Camp giants in a £12m deal from Ajax in 2016 but has only made two La Liga appearances after failing to displace Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The Holland international has a release clause of £54m but it is claimed he could be available for as little as £31m.
Chelsea will likely only be able to recoup a similar amount for Courtois, who has entered the final year of his contract.
Speaking during Belgium’s World Cup campaign, Courtois – who spent three years on loan at Atletico Madrid before making the Blues’ first team – revealed: “I love living in London. Madrid and London are great.
“The only thing is that my children live in Madrid, I would like them to be close.
"That doesn't mean I'm going to come back, but for me they are very important and I'm going to do something to see them more.”
