And according to the , two players he has identified are Chelsea fringe-players Loftus-Cheek and Batshuayi.

Both face uncertain futures at Chelsea having been farmed out on loan last season by former boss Antonio Conte.

Batshuayi ended the season playing in Germany with Borussia Dortmund, where he rediscovered the goal touch that persuaded the Blues to sign him for £33m.

And Loftus-Cheek made such an impact on a year-long loan at Crystal Palace he forced his way into the England squad for the World Cup.

And Everton manager Silva is hoping to seize on their situations by dangling the prospect of regular Premier League football at Goodison Park in front of them.

He wants to persuade Chelsea to let him have their players for a season as he attempts to switch up from the 4-4-2 system employed last year to a more attacking approach.

Key to his plans appears to be Loftus-Cheek, 22, who is wanted back at Selhurst Park for another 12 months by Palace.

Silva believes he can have a major influence from the centre of midfield for his side, providing the creativity that has been lacking at times.

And Batshuayi, 24, would provide a valuable boost to Everton's attacking options with the squad limited for choice up front.

Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are the two most likely attacking choices available to Silva, but the manager wants to add at least one more to his group.

The Belgian striker offers a different type of goal threat to Tosun and Calvert-Lewin, and if he can be snapped up on loan it would save Everton a fortune in trying to sign another forward.

Chelsea have flown out to Australia as part of their pre-season tour, with Sarri claiming he wanted to speak with his players face to face to face before deciding on the futures.

That could mean it will only be the end of the month before Everton know if they could  get either player.
