ALEXIS SANCHEZ has sorted out his visa problems and is flying out to join up with the rest of the Manchester United squad in the United States.
The Chilean forward, 29, had been denied a US visa due to a fraud charge dating back to his time at Barcelona.
It was feared he would miss the whole of United’s five-game pre-season tour.
The club had been working hard to resolve the issue and today got the all clear for Sanchez to travel.
That will be a big relief for manager Jose Mourinho who was already without the majority of his World Cup stars.
Many players returning from Russia had been given a three-week break after their time in Russia with their national sides.
Chile had not qualified however and Mourinho wanted to use the time in America with Sanchez to help him integrate on the pitch with Juan Mata and Anthony Martial ahead of the new season.
Mourinho had indicated yesterday that those three would start the season as his World Cup stars from the England, France and Belgium squads would not have had a proper pre-season.
That means the likes of World Cup winner Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford who would have been expected to start the season, won’t.
