Tottenham to snub Wilfried Zaha and launch bid for Jack Grealish instead of Crystal Palace winger
Crystal Palace ace has told the Eagles he wants to leave while Aston Villa need money for their top star
TOTTENHAM will snub the race for Wilfried Zaha and launch a bid to sign Jack Grealish instead.
SunSport revealed that Zaha, 25, has told Crystal Palace he wants to leave and play for a bigger club.
Spurs did try to sign the Ivory Coast winger last summer.
But they turned to Aston Villa midfielder Grealish after baulking at Zaha’s £70million price tag.
Chairman Daniel Levy hopes to complete a deal for the 22-year-old next week but he has so far refused to meet Villa’s £40m asking price.
Grealish could become Spurs’ first buy of the summer — although Heung-Min Son and Erik Lamela both signed new contracts yesterday.

That will cheer up fans concerned by their club’s lack of activity in the transfer window so far.
South Korean World Cup star Son, 26, agreed a five-year deal worth £90,000 a week while injury-hit Argentine forward Lamela — who cost a club record £30million from Roma in 2013 — penned a four-year deal.
Son has also been cleared to play in Spurs’ Premier League opener at Newcastle on August 11 before he joins up with South Korea’s squad for the Asian Games.
The tournament runs until September 1 — ruling Son out of four Premier League matches.
But if South Korea win, he could be excused National Service lasting for 21 months.
