Liverpool set to cut eight stars with flop Loris Karius and Danny Ings facing Jurgen Klopp axe
LIVERPOOL are set to axe eight first-team stars as Jurgen Klopp gets set to trim his squad.
Loris Karius and Danny Ings are the two stars most likely to leave Anfield this summer, according to reports.
Karius endured a nightmare end to the last campaign after his double blunder against Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
And the keeper has made mistakes in pre-season, notably against Tranmere and Borussia Dortmund, after recovering from a concussion scare in Kiev.
But the German, 25, has been replaced by £67million Brazil stopper Alisson after Liverpool broke the world record fee for a goalkeeper.
Ings is desperate for first-team football and after two years of injury hell, is looking to resurrect his career away from Anfield, unless he can be guaranteed more first-team football.
