THE French Football Federation have unveiled their brand new logo following their World Cup success.
Les Bleus claimed the biggest prize on the planet earlier this month for just the second time in their history.
They won the tournament for the first time back in 1998 on home turf, a feat that was commemorated by a gold star being placed above the FFF’s official badge.
The 4-2 victory over Croatia in the final now means that the French have won a new star.
Today they revealed the new-look crest that has integrated the second star – although the two starred one will not be appearing everywhere.
A said: “Naturally, the FFF wished that the official logo of the Team of France A evolves to accompany this title and to integrate this second star.
“The stars will now be reserved for France A and women’s teams, depending on their number of victories in World Cups.”
That means that they will only be seen on the jerseys of the senior men and women’s team.

But the FFF have also used this opportunity to modernise their own logo and it has a familiar feel – the famous Gallic cockerel is still included but it comes with only the organisation’s initials and minus the stars the and the word “France”.
The statement explained: “It represents all teams in France, regardless of their number of stars, but also all competitions and amateur football.”
