Tottenham want Wilfried Zaha as Chelsea see bid rejected by Crystal Palace for in-demand winger
Ace is a top target for Mauricio Pochettino, who is yet to sign a single player this summer
TOTTENHAM are on a mission to land Wilfried Zaha for a cut-price £45million.
Chairman Daniel Levy has not given up on signing the Crystal Palace winger ahead of the transfer window closing next Thursday.
Spurs initially stepped back from chasing Zaha as they believed a deal would take a minimum of £70m, so moved on to Jack Grealish.
But with Aston Villa demanding £40m for a player still relatively unproven in the Premier League, Spurs are now once again looking at Zaha — who would be tempted to move to North London.
The Ivory Coast international, 25, has been determined to prove himself capable of playing for a top club ever since he flopped at Manchester United.
Palace are hopeful of signing German midfield ace Max Meyer, 22, who is a free agent after leaving Schalke.
Midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate, 28, is also looking to complete a £10m switch from West Ham.
